We were dispatched to a home on State Route 12E today for a carbon monoxide alarm activation. The residents did not answer the phone.
We responded to confirm nobody was home and have located the issue and removed the hazard.
At 12:14 AM we were dispatched to a farm on County Route 181 for a tractor fire in a field. Chiefs arrived on scene and requested tankers from Depauville and Lafargeville Fire while 14-1-1 and 14-6-1 responded. We sprayed water and foam onto the fully engulfed tractor, extinguishing the blaze, and returned to service shortly after. TIERS also stood by at the scene.
We returned to the scene the following day at 16:26 for a rekindle.
This evening the fire boat, "Last Chance," was dispatched to a boating incident in which the caller stated a freighter had hit a boat. Upon further investigation, we reviewed a photo that the caller had taken and determined that the freighter actually hit a large wave, not a boat. All units returned to service around 5 PM.

Today at 18:06 we were alerted to a possible structure fire, and were requested to check walls for heat after a heater malfunctioned and overheated. Everything was contained to the heater.
We received two fire alarms today at Riverview Apartments on Strawberry Lane, both of which are believed to have been an alarm malfunction.
Our Chicken BBQ today was interrupted by a request from Alex Bay for apparatus and manpower for a cottage on fire in Alexandria Bay. The incident took place on Carnegie Bay Road.
At 9:30 AM we were dispatched to a car vs. deer on State Route 12.
Call notes stated that a truck hit a deer, no airbags were deployed, but there was antifreeze leaking from the vehicle. Nobody in the vehicle was injured.
At 20:56 we were alerted to a possible structure fire on Reinman Lane, which turned out to be a furnace that possibly caught on fire, but was out when we arrived. We cleared smoke from the basement and were clear at 21:40.
