Clayton Fire is now Town of Clayton Fire

We are excited to announce that we have joined forces with the Depauville Fire Department to provide faster response times, more volunteers, and an overall optimized fire service protecting the 86 square miles in the town of Clayton.

“Now we’ll have consolidated training, consolidated equipment and apparatus operators ... [and] a very streamlined leadership structure,” said Justin Taylor, District chairman, during a 7 News interview.

Thanks for visiting the official website for the Clayton Fire Company, located in the Thousand Islands region of New York. The Clayton Fire Department has been serving the area since 1886, and joined forces with the Depauville Fire Department in 2023 to form the Town of Clayton Fire Department. TCFD as a whole provides fire protection in the town of Clayton including parts of the St. Lawrence River, and assists surrounding communities as requested.
