The Clayton Fire Department has 5 Companies; an Engine Company, a Maritime Company and a Ladder Company. We also have a Drill Company. There are 7 vehicles and 3 boats (including the airboat). Fire Boat 2 (Slim Chance) Description: 1968 Crestliner, Outboard On Board: Equipment will be placed on board as needed for each incident. Air Boat (sNO Chance) 2008, 24’ 1000 Islands Air Boats Inc. Powered by a 502 CI GM Engine. It will be used primarily in the winter months to access waterfront and island incidents but can operate year round.
