Control Burn...Rt. 12E..Town of Clayton

Sunday, March 18th we burnt a structure on the main road from Clayton to Cape (Rt. 12E).  The landowner requested the structure be burnt to ease the clearing of the property.  It got WARM!!! and quick...!

Ice Rescue Training...

Sunday, March 25th, in Clayton FD tradition before the ice was gone...we had to go swimmin', but made sure that training and tactics were sharpened in the mean time.

Personal Injury MVA...Rt 12E...Town of Clayton...

Poor road conditions played a role in this one car accident on the outskirts of the village of Clayton.  The Jaws were used in the extrication process allowing for the one patient to be taken to SMC via TIERS. 

Structure Fire Co. Rt. 11 Town of Clayton...

The tones dropped around 10:30pm for a reported structure fire on Co. Rt. 11 in the Town of Clayton.  Departments responding included Clayton, LaFargeville, Depauville, Fishers Landing, and additional mutual aid from Chaumont and Brownville for tankers.  The blaze was visible from outside CC 300's front door and from the village limits of Clayton as we responded.  T.I.E.R.S provided medical coverage standby on scene.  No injuries were reported and the blaze was contained to the structure and allowed to burn.  Precautions were taken surrounding the structure to ensure the fire did not spread to neighboring structures.

Plane Crash...

A single engine plane made an emergency landing after experiencing mechanical problems shortly after 7:00 pm. The pilot and two passengers were treated by T.I.E.R.S. Ambulance for minor injuries.
