The Clayton Fire Department has 4 Companies: 2 Engine Companies, 1 Maritime Company and 1 Ladder Company. There are 5 trucks and 2 boats and one utility bus in operation.

On Board: 1250 GPM Pump with 1000 Gallons of Water, Large Diameter Hose, 4 Air Packs, and Thermal Imaging Camera (TIC).

Engine 2.

On Board: 4" Diameter Hose, On Board Lighting, 2 Air Packs

Tanker 1.

Description: 1999 E-One 2000 Gallon Tanker
On Board: 2000 Gallons of Water, Prepiped Foam System, Twin 2000 Gallon Drop Tanks, Large Diameter Hose, 2 Air Packs

Rescue 1.

Description: 1995 E-One Saulsbury Walk-in
On Board: Jaws of Life, Generator and Lighting System, High Pressure Air Bags, Cascade Air System, High Angle Rescue Equipment

Truck 1.

Description: 1981 Seagrave Quint, 100 ft. stick, 1000 GPM Pump
On Board: Large Diameter Hose, Generator, 4 Air Packs, Multiple Ground Ladders.

Fire Boat 1. (Last Chance)

Description: 2003 MetalCraft 36' Aluminum Hull, Crew of 8, Top Speed of 37 knots (42.5 mph), Twin Cummins 8.3 litre diesels(450hp each), Twin Hamilton 322 jet drives, 1500 gpm Darley fire pump, 6.5 kw generator
On Board: GPS, Chart Plotter, Radar, Depth Sounder, Nautical Thermal Imaging System (FLARE), Marine, Fire, Law Enforcement & EMS Radios, Patient capacity of 4
