The Clayton Volunteer
Department Inc., provides fire and rescue services in the Town of
Clayton north of County Route 5 (Depauville Fire Department covers Town
of Clayton south of County Route 5) as well as mutual aid to surrounding
communities as requested.
Approximately 90
firefighters are assigned to 2 Engine companies, 1 Ladder company and
one Maritime company. Our operations officers are the Chief, 1st and 2nd
Assistant. Administrative officers are the President, Vice-President,
Secretary and Treasurer.
Regular meetings are
held the first Monday of every month, 7:00pm, at Station One. Elections
are held at the annual meeting in April
